Form Data

· The information you enter into the document form (lender and borrower names, addresses, loan amounts, interest rates, party addresses, collateral details, etc.)

· This data is used solely to generate your document and is encrypted at rest in our database

Usage Data

· Pages visited on the Site

· Browser type and version

· IP address

· Referring URL

· Date and time of visit

Section 3How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

· Generate and deliver your requested document

· Send your document download link via email (if email provided)

· Process payments through Stripe

· Provide re-download access within the 5-day window

· Improve the accuracy and functionality of the platform

· Detect and prevent fraud or misuse

· Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Section 4Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

We receive a payment confirmation and transaction ID from Stripe, which we use to authorize your document download.

Section 5Email Delivery

If you provide an email address, we use Resend to deliver your document download link. Your email address is used solely for document delivery and re-download notifications. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

Section 6Data Retention

Form data associated with your transaction is retained for 5 days from the date of purchase to support re-download requests. After 5 days, form data is automatically deleted from our systems.

Transaction records including payment confirmation, state, document type, and download history are retained for accounting and fraud prevention purposes.

Section 7Data Security

We use AES-256-CBC encryption to protect form data stored on our servers. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe and we never store payment card details. We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of form data at rest, HTTPS/TLS for all data transmission, and restricted database access limited to authorized systems and personnel.

However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that our systems will never be compromised. In the event of a data breach or unauthorized access, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and notify affected users as required by applicable law.

Your Promissory Note is not liable for unauthorized access to your data resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including cyberattacks, hacking, or other malicious acts by third parties. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

Section 8Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience on the Site. These may include session cookies necessary for the document generation flow and analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Site.

You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect functionality of the document generation process.
